Synthetic hair can be curled like natural hair, giving it a little more body or a different style. It does take a little more work and patience. In my experience this is the best way to actually curl synthetic hair.

  • Take the wig or hair piece and brush it out. Make sure there are no knots or anything and the hair is laying flat. Wet the hair either by submersing it under water or spaying it with a spray bottle.
  • Once the hair is completely wet and brushed out, now it’s time to roll the hair into the foam rollers. Make sure the hair is brushed flat as you wind it around the rollers. If the hair is kinked while it’s rolled it will have some non desirable results. Be careful during this step and keep close attention.
  • Let the hair dry. If you place it in the warm sun, it may take about 1-2 hours. If you don’t leave it in the sun, leave it overnight to dry. Make sure it’s completely dry and then you can remove the rollers and style! Enjoy!
